Haddon Hill macro shoot
Richard Martin led an insect macro session on 9th June at Haddon Hill, Exmoor.
Haddon Hill is above Wimbleball lake, which should have been the ideal venue for photographing heath fritillary, green streak, other butterflies and all types of insects. It also has a good mix of gorse, bracken and woodland not to mention the occasional family of Exmoor ponies wandering around.
The weather proved tricky with wind and rain making it a bit difficult to see many of the native insects but undeterred, members still captured a few nice shots.
